Do You Need Really Self-Improvement? Here’s Why

This question may seem somewhat awkward when you read it for the first time, but let’s dare ask it again, “Do you really need this self-improvement stuff?”

Some people have no idea how to answer this question, even though people spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars on self-improvement with no progress.

What is Self-Improvement?

Self-improvement basically entails changing something in your life that you think is either not right or is not fully realized because every human being’s main purpose is to be the best version of themselves they can be which takes intentional commitment to self-improvement.

Understanding What

However, in order to truly transform yourself for the best version of you, you first need to know what you want out of life.

Therefore, you need to identify what it is that you want changed or developed before you begin any self-improvement program.

Understanding Why

After knowing what you want and to need to find out why you want a particular change in your life.

If you have not found the “what” and the “why” then you will not stay committed to the process, get frustrated and quit or create alibis as to where you are in life is really okay (aka excuses).

Shape Your What & Why with a Goal

Once you understand your what and why, you can start making shake to your personal growth and development by way of setting a goal.

Most of all, the goals that you set should be honest and should resonate with you according to what you believe you can do. People set lofty goals they don’t believe like “losing a pound a day.”

Someone who then loses half a pound per day gets too disappointed to continue, while in the real sense this is quite an achievement for most people.

Conclusion

Self-improvement is not hocus pocus or some magic trick. It is understanding your intentions and setting your intentions with goals that manifest transformation in the physical form.

It is your personal responsibility to better you, no matter how many excuses you that it is not. It is you who sets the goals and endures the persistence of transforming your life.

If you do not take action, then these possibilities will remain fiction to you, and you will continue living in a world of wishful thinking.

So do you really self-improvement?

The answer is yes you do, if you want to embrace possibilities.
